ABNORMAL OPERATION
REVERSIONARY MODE
Shouldasystemdetectedfailureoccurineitherdisplay,theG950automatically
enters reversionary mode. In reversionary mode, critical ight instrumentation is
combinedwithengineinstrumentationontheremainingdisplay.
Reversionary display mode can be manually activated by pressing the display
backupbuttoninstalledinthecockpit.
NOTE: The Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH) and/or Airplane Flight Manual
(AFM) always takes precedence over the information found in this section.
ABNORMAL COM OPERATION
WhenaCOMtuningfailureisdetectedbythesystem,theemergencyfrequency
(121.500MHz)isautomaticallyloaded into the active frequencyeldoftheCOM
radioforwhichthetuningfailurewasdetected.IntheeventofafailureofbothPFDs,
theemergencyfrequency(121.500MHz)automaticallybecomestheactivefrequency
onbothCOMradios.
HAZARD DISPLAYS WITH LOSS OF GPS POSITION
IfGPSpositionislost,orbecomesinvalid,selectedhazardsbeingdisplayedonthe
NavigationMapPageareremoveduntilGPSpositionisagainestablished.
