12.2 AIRCRAFT ALERTS
The following alerts are configured specifically for the Piper PA32 aircraft. See the Pilot’s Operating Handbook for
information regarding pilot responses.
WARNING Alerts
Annunciation Window Text Alerts Window Message Audio Alert
OIL PRES LO Oil pressure is below 25 psi.
Continuous Aural Tone
OIL PRES HI Oil pressure is above 115 psi.
ALTNTR INOP No output from main alternator.
NO STBY ALT No output from standby alternator.
STARTER ENGD Starter is engaged.
ESS BUS LOW Essential bus voltage is less than 24.5V.
EMER BAT LOW Emergency battery is voltage is low.
CAUTION Alerts

BAGGAGE DOOR Baggage door is open.
Single Aural Tone
AIR COND DR Air conditioning door is open.
EMER BAT LOW Emergency battery state of charge less than 75 percent.
PITOT FAIL Pitot heat is inoperative.
PITOT OFF Pitot heat is off.
FLAPS Flap position and flap setting do not agree.
SHED LOAD Shed electrical load. (Issued again 5 minutes after
initially displayed and acknowledged.)

STBY ALT ON Standby alternator on.
None
DISPLAY FAN The cooling fan for the display is inoperative.
AVIONICS FAN The cooling fan for the remote avionics is inop.
EMER BAT NC The emergency battery is not charging.
AIR COND DR Air conditioning door is operating properly.
ADF FAN The ADF cooling fan is inoperative. (Only available when
ADF is installed.)
