13. Press the ENT key to confirm the configuration file selection.
14. Press the LOAD softkey to load the configuration file.
15. Press the ENT key to confirm upload completion (

16. Remove the SD card from the PFD.
17. Remove power from the MFD and PFD.
18. Verify the ambient air temperature is at least 70° Fahrenheit. Apply power to both displays and
leave them on for a minimum of 11 minutes.
NOTE
Loading “GDU Backup Cap Test Software (006-B0380-15)” to the GDU may present the
following nuisance messages on the MFD and PFD screens when in the normal mode.
a) “Splash Screen File not Found”.
b) “Unknown Configuration for Config Module” – xxxxxxxxxxxx (denotes place holder
for the specific configuration listed.
c) Alert “Manifest – PFD 1 software mismatch, communication halted”.
d) Alert “Manifest – MFD 1 software mismatch, communication halted”.
19. Remove power from the MFD and PFD. Place both displays in Configuration mode by holding
the ENT key while applying power.
NOTE
Loading “GDU Backup Cap Test Software (006-B0380-15)” to the GDU may present the
following nuisance messages on the MFD and PFD screens while loading. Acknowledge
the message by pressing the ENT key or let it time out to move to the next steps.
a) “Splash Screen File not Found”.
b) “Unknown Configuration for Config Module” – xxxxxxxxxxxx (denotes place holder
for the specific configuration listed.
