When troubleshooting configuration error messages, technicians can look for inequalities between SET
and ACTIVE columns which trigger the message. Some configuration error messages can be resolved
simply by pressing the SET>ACTV softkey, which reloads settings from the PFD to the specific LRU.
This can also be accomplished by reloading the configuration files for the LRU, using the approved
G1000 system software loader card for the currently installed software. Section 7 describes the process
for loading configuration files from a software loader card to a LRU).
A blank active column, as shown in Figure 3-11, represents loss of communication between the display
and the particular unit. See Section 5 for more details on troubleshooting loss of communications.
