7.10.1 GSR 56 Testing
This check verifies the GSR 56 is configured and is functional. This check requires that the aircraft be
positioned outside for Iridium satellite reception.
1. Position the aircraft outside in a clear unobstructed area for Iridium satellite reception.
2. Power up the PFD in configuration mode.
3. On the PFD, select the GDL page group using the large FMS knob.
4. Using the small FMS knob select the GSR56 Configuration page. Verify the page can be
displayed and information is available.

5. Restart the G1000 System in Normal Mode.
