PFD FAN FAIL*
PFD FAN FAIL – The
cooling fan for the PFD is
inoperative.
Ensure that the CDU FAN and/or AV FAN circuit breakers are
closed.
Perform visual inspection of fan operation per Section 4.13 of
this document.
Check cooling fan wiring.
Replace cooling fan. Refer to 005-00304-00 for installation
drawings.
MFD FAN FAIL*
MFD FAN FAIL – The
cooling fan for the MFD is
inoperative.
GIA FAN FAIL*
GIA FAN FAIL – The cooling
fan for the GIAs is
inoperative.
PFD OVERHEAT*
PFD1 COOLING – PFD has
poor cooling. Reducing
power usage.
Perform visual inspection of fan operation per Section 4.13 of
this document. Replace cooling fan if necessary. Refer to
005-00304-00 for installation drawings.
Replace affected display.
If problem persists contact Garmin.
MFD
OVERHEAT*
MFD1 COOLING – MFD has
poor cooling. Reducing
power usage.
GIA 1
OVERHEAT*
GIA1 COOLING – GIA1 over
temperature.
Check Avionics Fan for proper operation.
Replace affected GIA.
If problem persists contact Garmin.
GIA 2
OVERHEAT*
GIA2 COOLING – GIA2 over
temperature.
