5. Configure and test the GSR 56 according to Section 7.10.
6. Reinstall the baggage compartment floor and compartment removed to gain access to the
GSR 56.
6.17 Iridium Antenna (Optional)
Removal:
1. Remove the baggage compartment floor and compartment to gain access to the antenna coaxial
cable connector. Refer to the Antenna Install drawing listed in Table 1-2.
2. Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable.
3. Remove the antenna mounting screws.
4. Remove antenna.
Reinstallation:
1. Install antenna using retained mounting screws. Refer to the Antenna Install drawing listed in
Table 1-2.
2. Connect the antenna coaxial cable.
3. Reinstall the baggage compartment floor and compartment removed to gain access to the antenna.
4. Proceed to Section 7.10 for testing of the GSR 56.
6.18 Wi-Fi Antenna (Optional)
The Wi-Fi antenna, if installed, is a non operational antenna that is available for future expansion of the
GDL 59 system.
Removal:
1. Remove the baggage compartment floor and compartment to gain access to the antenna coaxial
cable connector. Refer to the Antenna Install drawing listed in Table 1-2.
2. Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable.
3. Remove the antenna mounting screws.
4. Remove antenna.
Reinstallation:
1. Install antenna using retained mounting screws. Refer to the Antenna Install drawing listed in
Table 1-2.
2. Connect the antenna coaxial cable.
3. Reinstall the baggage compartment floor and compartment removed to gain access to the antenna.
4. Proceed to Section 7.9.2 for testing of the GDL 59.
