4.12.2 GIA63 #1, GIA63 #2 & GRS77 Voltage Suppressor Fuse Replacement
To replace the fuses, perform the following steps. Refer to the DA40 Aircraft Maintenance Manual for
instructions to remove and replace interior items to access the fuses.
1. Remove rear baggage compartment floor.
2. Detach seat belts.
3. Remove baggage compartment shell.
4. Remove Rear Passenger Seats.
5. Refer to Figure 4-17, Figure 4-20 and Figure 4-21 to locate the three fuses which is attached to the
forward portion of the remote avionics enclosure. Each fuse is mounted to the side of the block,
and each is labeled.
6. Twist each fuse holder cap counter-clockwise, remove each fuse and replace with a new fuse.
Reference Table 4-6 for the proper P/N fuse.
7. Reinstall the interior components that were removed for access.
