GIA1 COOLING – GIA1

GIA1 operating temperature is too
low.
Allow unit to warm up.
GIA2 COOLING – GIA2
temperature too low.
GIA2 operating temperature is too
low.
Allow unit to warm up.
GIA1 COOLING – GIA1 over
temperature.
GIA1 has exceeded its operating
temperature range.
Check Avionics Fan for proper
operation.
Replace GIA1.
If problem persists contact Garmin.
GIA2 COOLING – GIA2 over
temperature.
GIA2 has exceeded its operating
temperature range.
Check Avionics Fan for proper
operation.
Replace GIA2.
If problem persists contact Garmin.

MANIFEST – GIA1 software
mismatch. Communication
Halted.
The system has detected an
incorrect software version loaded
in GIA1.
Load correct software. See Section 3.5
for the software loading procedure.
MANIFEST – GIA2 software
mismatch. Communication
Halted.
The system has detected an
incorrect software version loaded
in GIA2.
GIA1 CONFIG – GIA1 audio
config error. Config service req’d.
The GIA’s audio configuration files
are incorrect or missing.
Reload audio configuration files. See
Section 3.5 for the configuration loading
procedure.
GIA2 CONFIG – GIA2 audio
config error. Config service req’d.
GIA1 CONFIG – GIA1
configuration error. Config service
req’d.
The system has detected a GIA
configuration mismatch. If GIAs
are not properly configured after
being swapped/replaced, this
message appears.
Reload GIA configuration files. See
Section 3.5 for the configuration loading
procedure.
GIA2 CONFIG – GIA2
configuration error. Config service
req’d.
HW MISMATCH – GIA hardware
mismatch, GIA1 (or 2)
communication halted.
A GIA 63 and a GIA 63W are
installed on the same aircraft.
Remove the incorrectly installed GIA.
Install the correct P/N GIA and verify
correct software is loaded.
Refer to the appropriate General
Arrangement drawings in Table 1-2.
